The Asics Gel Nimbus 23 is a long-distance running trainer, constructed with comfort and breathability in mind. This style is for men and comes in a grey and navy body, with blue, black, and grey highlights.
This is the first product in Asics’s line to introduce gender-specific technology. To optimise for the individual running styles of men and women, certain areas under the heel help you to engage with the foam better, while providing a softer feel underfoot. Because of this, the forefoot outsole flex grooves are also different, depending on the gender. Similarly, they help you to engage with the midsole and generate a smoother transition.
Packed with technology, this trainer gives you cushioning for those off-road sessions. Because of the rearfoot gel, shocks are absorbed as you run. Moreover, it has been strategically placed for maximum comfort.
As well as this, Asics’s technology has made this trainer lightweight. It also ensures that it is as responsive as possible, while providing the necessary strength and durability to keep you moving. Your footwear will bounce back to its original shape after every run.
At the same time, there’s an additional spring in every step that you take. The lightweight foam construction means less drag and greater toe-off, to keep you moving naturally. All in all, this technology creates trainers that are 55% lighter than the industry standard.
For further stability, this model has a reinforced mid-sole, preventing twisting when you run. This has been achieved by reducing the overall weight, in order to create smoother transitions. As a result, your risk of injury is reduced.
Inside this model, an Ortholite X-55 insole can be found. This is highly breathable material that can withstand moisture and provide long-term cushioning. It is also removable and machine washable.
And, for those sessions during the early mornings and nights, you won’t need to worry about safety. Reflective details ensure that you’ll be noticed in low-light areas.
The features of the Asics Gel Nimbus 23 not only improve your performance, but they contribute to the treatment of certain foot health conditions as well. These include Achilles pain, heel spurs, knee pain, lower back pain, and standing posture.
